Step 1 — The most important step

Identify the part precisely

Most wasted time and money in spare-part buying starts with vague identification. "A bearing for a filling machine" cannot be quoted; "bearing 6205-2RS for brand X filling machine, model Y, built 2018" gets a price within a day. Before requesting a quote, prepare:

  • A clear photo of the machine's nameplate — brand, model, year, serial number.
  • The part number — found on the part itself, in the manual, or in the machine's parts list.
  • Photos from several angles plus exact caliper measurements, if there is no part number.
  • A technical drawing or a physical sample, for parts that must be manufactured.
Step 2 — The key decision

OEM, aftermarket, or custom-made?

Every part has three possible routes, and the right choice depends on how critical the part is. OEM (original manufacturer) parts offer maximum certainty at maximum price — the sensible choice for sensitive items like controllers and high-speed rotating components. Reputable aftermarket parts — produced abundantly and well in Turkey — are the economical, reliable choice for most consumables: bearings, belts, seals, filters. Step 3 — When time is critical
